Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore belongs to you and we need your help to make it an even greater place.
What would you like to see added to the park?
The Dunes National Park Association is working to make these and other amenities possible. Unlike some other national parks, Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore has no admission fee and does not have the money these fees contribute to building new visitor services.
Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore receives 2 million visitors a year, making it one of America's most popular national parks. At 15,000 acres, it is also one of the smallest and it has fewer visitor facilities than most parks. This is why Dunes National Park Association exists. As an independent nonprofit organization we are a voice for the public in protecting this park and making improvements beyond what the government can do.
Please join with the Dunes National Park Association to improve Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Volunteer with us, join our mailing list, or make a donation. You visit this park, and we know it is important to you. Now, become part of its future.
